Best practice advice for documenting work to include in your portfolio?

Does anyone have some advice on how to document your work/progress for the purpose of using that info in your portfolio?

Are there things you do on a regular basis to document your progress/finished projects? Are there certain tools you use? For example, notion or a similar tool?

I have found this website useful, even without taking the "course." They have pretty good articles and downloads like templates, etc.

I’ve been using a combination of Otter.ai to transcribe my thoughts to text and then use notion to write my case studies. Seems to work for me so far.

. I give Otter.ai a try. I have a pretty long commute and Otter seems like a good way for me to dictate my thoughts. I've started using Notion but haven't settled into a good way of organizing my pages. I do like that I can build case studies in it while, essentially, maintaining a work journal.

Yeah it’s really the voice transcription that makes the flow convenient. You can use whatever text editor after that
