Hasura/graphql-engine deploymentSeptember 28, 2018 at 9:18pm (Edited 2 years ago)
I would like to experiment with hosting the Hasura on now.. (The data layer, not the postgresql database). What would be the best way to translate the command below into a dockerfile that can be deployed with
now including the database-url env variable? I can't quite tease out what the CMD portion would be here.
docker run -d -p 8080:8080 hasura/graphql-engine:v1.0.0-alpha21 graphql-engine --database-url postgres://username:password@hostname:port/dbname serve --enable-console

please let me know how it goes. I tried deploying Hasura to Now earlier this week and the service kept getting regularly restarted. I reached out to the Hasura developers. They said they were going to look into it further, and post a thread here if they needed to. For now I'm hosting it on Heroku.

: Shahidh from Hasura here. I tried it out, but the first request after timeout always throws 504. Posted a detailed note here: https://spectrum.chat/thread/343b2d12-48ba-4a38-88e1-a08106bbbbf0
